The Classic Beef Burger

This is the classic beef burger recipe that everyone loves. It's simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
  • 500g good quality beef mince
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Your favourite burger toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, bacon, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined. 2. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties. 3. Heat a charcoal BBQ to medium heat. 4. Cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through to your liking. 5. Serve the burgers on toasted burger buns with your favourite toppings.

The Bacon Cheeseburger

What's better than a classic beef burger? A cheeseburger! What’s better than a cheeseburger? A bacon cheeseburger! This recipe is just as easy to make as the classic beef burger, but it's even more delicious with a slice of melted cheese and a piece of crispy bacon.
Ingredients:
  • The same ingredients as the classic beef burger recipe, plus:
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 rasher of thick cut (smoked – optional) back bacon

Instructions:

1. Follow the instructions for the classic beef burger recipe. 2. Cook the burgers for 2 minutes per side before adding the first slice of cheese on top of each burger. 3. Now add the bacon to the BBQ, to get it sizzling over the coals, and crispy, cook for 3-4 minutes, add the last slice of cheese on top and cook for a further minute to get the cheese melted. 4. Add the bacon with melted cheese on to the cheeseburger. 5. Serve the burgers on toasted burger buns with your favourite toppings.

The Mushroom Swiss Burger

This burger is a little more sophisticated than the classic beef burger or the cheeseburger, but it's still just as easy to make. The addition of mushrooms and Swiss cheese gives this burger a rich and creamy flavour that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
  • The same ingredients as the classic beef burger recipe, plus:
  • 150g of chopped mushrooms
  • 50g of grated Swiss cheese

Instructions:

  1. Follow the instructions for the classic beef burger recipe.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
  3. Top each patty with a spoonful of the mushroom mixture before cooking.
  4. Cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through to your liking.
  5. Serve the burgers on toasted burger buns with your favourite toppings.
