BSL Authorised Pellets
BSL authorised products are those products that are listed and authorised by the Biomass Suppliers List as eligible fuels for RHI Participants.
When purchasing a BSL authorised fuel, your invoice will contain the BSL number associated with that product in order to ensure that you will be able to present this invoice as evidence if required under the RHI scheme.

What is the RHI?
The Renewable Heat Incentive, a pioneering initiative by the UK Government, aimed to drive the adoption of renewable heat technologies among households, communities, and businesses. Through financial incentives, the scheme encouraged a shift towards renewable sources for heating.
Key policy decisions were overseen by the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), while Ofgem E-Serve played a vital role in administering the program.
The program was closed to new applicants on the 31st of March 2022.
